Damage to a windscreen will only get worse if neglected. Cracked or chipped windscreens are a major reason for MOT failure. A stone chip can be repaired by means of a resin injection to prevent the damage from getting worse. Resin can be injected using a DIY windscreen repair kit or by an auto-glass repair expert who will inject the resin using more sophisticated windscreen repair kits.
